Formerly the Jack Stewart Jr. Fish and Wildlife Fund, Inc., we are now Stewart Marine Fish and Wildlife Fund, Inc. This is solely because Jack’s grandson, Brendan, is now heavily involved in all aspects of Stewart Marine. Our non-profit organization still has the same mission though.

We are in memory of Jack Stewart Jr. (18) an avid young sportsman, who was accidentally killed in 1987. We are funded from both individual and business contributions to promote local fishing among the young and old. Our non-profit is entirely dependent on donations and book sales. 100% of the proceeds raised is spent back on many activities that we sponsor each year.

During the past 36 years over 4,000 rod-reel-line combos have been distributed to youngsters who have attended our Youth Fishing Clinic held every year in the Mahopac/ Carmel area. Each year 100 local youth who attend clinic receive a free rod and reel, tackle, and guidance from experienced volunteers. Please pay attention to the Carmel Parks and Recreation website for more information on this year’s clinic.

We thank you for your support throughout the years. Keep an eye on our website to see what we are doing around the community or sign up for our mailing list.
